A.J. is a drumming fool. He lives and breathes percussion. Formerly a Praise and Worship Legend, he steps into 3for5 with a lifetime of musical experience. His ever-positive attitude has rubbed off on all of the other members of the band.

But, when we first met A.J. (or ‘A’ as we like to call him) he was a quiet and nonchalant fellow. This showed through in his drumming as well as in his demeanor. We found that if you talked too loud or too fast you were likely miss the many subtleties of what A.J. was trying to express. Also, his drumming was so quiet that Jason’s guitar amp would completely drown him out.

Now, after months of working with him, we are proud to say that A.J. has come out of his shell. He is no longer afraid to speak up when he is in a room full of people. And thanks to the extensive weight-training program that 3for5 has put him on, A.J. can now hit his drums hard enough to be heard over the rest of the band. With a new spring in his step he even feels bold enough to approach young ladies and make conversation. Hats off to A.J. We think we have created a monster…
